Long Range Hunter – Day 1: Foundations of Precision

Day 1 of our Long Range Hunter Course lays the foundation for precision shooting and a deep understanding of your equipment. The morning kicks off in the classroom, where students dive into essential long-range hunting concepts—ballistics, optics, environmental factors, and more.

In the afternoon, students head to the range to zero and group their personal rifles (20–40 rounds), then transition to our engaging popper course using our suppressed .22LR precision trainer rifles (up to 100 rounds included). With zero recoil and no need for hearing protection, this training allows for real-time instruction and unmatched skill development.

You’ll begin mastering:

  • Building rock-solid shooting positions

  • Wind reading fundamentals

  • Precision marksmanship techniques

Bonus Challenge:
Put your new skills to the test with our signature 265-yard Golf Ball Challenge—a fun and rewarding way to apply wind-reading skills under pressure.

Long Range Hunter – Day 2: Real-World Application

Day 2 dives deeper into the science and art of long-range hunting. After a short classroom session covering advanced wind reading, environmental influences, and ballistic performance, you’ll head back to the range to apply everything in real-world scenarios.

Students engage targets from 300 to 1,500 yards across five unique shooting platforms with various angles and terrain features. This is where you refine your skills from multiple positions, under real field conditions.

Day 2 highlights include:

  • Internal & external ballistics deep dive

  • Bullet selection for ethical long-range kills

  • Shot placement for hunting scenarios

  • Shooting challenge stations

  • One-mile steel target finale
